电感耦合等离子体或ICP分析,是一个powerful chemical analysis method which can be used to identify both trace amounts and major concentrations of nearly all elements within a sample. Element provides a wide array of ICP analysis services including ICP Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) and ICP Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), also know as ICP Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES).
This method requires the use of liquefied samples, thus digestion of solid materials is often required. ICP analysis utilizes a plasma torch to vaporize fine droplets of the sample. Depending upon the ICP analysis test method, the atomic emission or ion mass is used to quantify the elements present in the sample.
As a fully ISO 17025 accredited laboratory, Element performs ICP testing and analysis services for customers from many sectors including Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Environmental, Infrastructure, and Transportation.
Our expertise inchemical laboratory analysis, combined with the advanced ICP testing instruments enables us to analyze a wide variety of materials for chemical composition of compounds such as metal, non-metal, liquids, paints and coatings.
ICP testing and analysis methods
Element offers several types of ICP testing and analysis procedures, including atomic emission spectroscopy (ICP-AES) and mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Both methods are highly effective chemical analysis techniques, and choosing the best method for your needs will depend upon your sample type and end goals.
While ICP-AES allows for both trace and major concentrations across a wide range of elements down to part per billion (ppb), ICP-MS provides a lower detection limit down to part per trillion (ppt).
Our ICP laboratories can also conduct ICP Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES Analysis) to identify and quantify the elements present in a wide range of materials such as solids, liquids and suspensions.
ICP testing and analysis capabilities
Element’s ICP analysis services range from testing for mechanical hazards, environmental compliance, chemical composition to analyzing consumer products for regulated compounds, and many more.
We deliver ICP testing and analysis to a wide variety of standards, including ASTM specifications such as ASTM E1479, E2594, E3061, F3139, E2371, and E954. Our Engaged Experts are familiar with compliance testing and industry standards to help identify the best method that meets your end goals.
Whether you require a material verification or unknown trace analysis, our ICP testing and analysis services offer effective and accurate test results.
